Dear friend, I thought you might be interested in the New Pentecost Forum (np2006) which promotes faith-based participation in public and political life as well as diversity and inclusiveness within the church. Occurring each year on Pentecost week, it provides a unique space for individuals and church groups interested in social justice to network, strategise and plan action. This year's Forum, starting in Melbourne from mid-May and culminating in Sydney on Pentecost Sunday 4 June, will feature respected Asian theologians Drs Edmund Chia and Gemma Cruz.
