About the forum
The New Pentecost Forum (np2006) is an affirmation
of faith-based participation in public and political life
as well as diversity and inclusiveness within the church.
Each year the meeting is on Pentecost Sunday. The day is a
symbol of dialogue and diversity – different tongues
speaking and a place in which the disciples became aware of
their evangelising mission.
Your space
This is your event! You are invited to create this
vision at the Forum by planning a workshop or "gathering",
facilitating a spontaneous gathering, and taking responsibility
for its promotion and success. It will be your space to be
creative, to network, to strategise and plan action. Other
planned initiatives: information stalls; coffee and books
stalls.
