Wollongong event

This year the New Pentecost Forum welcomes Wollongong's participation in the event.

Welcoming Jesus the Stranger in the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit - 29 May

Time: 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Venue: Edmund Rice College, 112 Mount Keira Road, West Wollongong, NSW

The Diocese of Wollongong is proud to host Rev Dr Jojo Fung, a Malaysian Jesuit priest who serves Malaysia’s Orang Asli indigenous
people. His perspective has relevance as we celebrate the anniversary of the 1967 referendum which recognised Indigenous Australian human rights.

This Forum is an affirmation of faith-based participation in public and political life as well as diversity and inclusiveness within the church. It will include opportunities for dialogue and networking.

All welcome. Entry by donation.

This event is presented through the New Pentecost Forum, and follows on from the excellent Uniya Series our diocese has hosted in recent years.
